Patients who are on regular treatment may request a repeat prescription by telephoning our 24 hour answer service on 01764 655577, calling in at the Medical Centre and completing a request form, or by letter, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope for reply. Please note that prescription requests will not be taken on the main phone line.
We have an online service where you can order your repeat prescriptions and make online appointments. To sign up for this service please speak to the receptionist.
You can also email your request to crieffredpractice.tayside@nhs.scot
Your prescription will be ready for collection 2 working days (48 hours) after your request it, the pharamacy will also need a few days to process your prescription, this is outwith the control of the practice. Any queries regarding the wherabouts of medication ordered over three working days ago should be directed to your pharmacy in the first instance.
There is no facility for repeat prescriptions to be collected on Saturdays or public Bank Holidays, so please ensure that you order them in plenty of time to save upset and disappointment all round.
Some pharmacies can supply a short course of your usual medication without a GP prescription, (except controlled drugs.) Ask your pharmacy if they offer this service.
Please note that a person can only collect prescriptions if they are over the age of 16.
