Other Information

Minor Ailments Scheme

The Practice, in conjunction with pharmacies across Calderdale, participates in the Minor Ailments Scheme. This enables patients with minor ailments to be treated more quickly by a pharmacist without the need for an appointment. Please ask reception staff, your GP or Nurse.

General Practitioner Training Scheme

The Practice participates in the early training of medical students and in the advanced training of qualified Doctors who wish to specialise in General Practice. The receptionist will inform you on the occasions when a surgery is being jointly run (either by GP + GP registrar or GP + medical student(s)), or when a surgery is being video-recorded for training purposes.
Recordings will not be undertaken without the consent of the patient.
No physical examinations are recorded and the camera will be switched off immediately on request. The Practice would like to thank all those patients who help us with the continuing education of future GPs.
